Day 714 of Quarantine

Day 714 of Quarantine. Checked the larder this morning and it appears that I will not have to go out on a supply run for another week or so.
I still am not having any luck getting the chickens to produce.
Spock advises that I should be persistent and that it would be illogical to give up on the chickens at this point.
I stepped outside to look for any signs of activity but everywhere I looked it is the same as it has been since the beginning. No movement. No people. No cars moving. Only the local wildlife.
Television appears to still be working but I can’t tell if the news is current or prerecorded. Gnorman tells me he has heard rumours that the dead are rising. That explains Nancy Pelosi. I think the isolation is getting to Gnorman. I hear him moving around at night when he thinks I’m asleep. I have hidden all the kitchen knives and other items that he might use to do violence.
I am alone. I am isolated. I’m scared. There is no escape.
